Herd Health

We routinely give CD/T shots & do Famache method for worming and do fecals.  Our herd tested negative for CAE, CL & Johnes in 2006, 2007 & 2008.  If buyer wants further testing, it will be at their expense.   

We require a $75.00 non-refundable deposit to hold  an animal.  The rest of the balance is due in CASH at time of pick up.  The buyer is responsible for the cost of health certificate and any other testing needed, if required by state of destination.  All of our goats receive CD/T vaccinations, wormed, feet are trimmed, Scrapie ear tags and are registered with MGR before going to new home.  Most kids are ready to go at 3 months of age and we will make arrangements with new owners for date of pick up.  We will have to charge an additional $2.00 per day for boarding if buyer is unable to pick up on date arranged.  If you have any other questions please email us and thank you for considering a Fern Hill goat.
